THE IRON HORSE OF FREEDOM

The Underground Railroad was a network of secret routes and safe houses established in the United States during slavery, used by enslaved Africans to escape into free states and Canada. Thousands of African captives traveled the Underground Railroad to freedom.

Today, in the 21th century, Black people are working for a different type of freedom... economic freedom.
